Egosthenion Hotel
The hotel was built in 1972 and commencd operations in the same year. It is amphitheatrically built over 35,000-40,000m2 land richly clad with olive trees, pine trees, eucalyptus and locust trees and others. It was renovated in 1988 and again in 2000. It consists of: a)semi-basement, b)semi-ground first level,c)First floor,d) Second floor and e) Rooftop.
a)Semi-basement
It covers an area of 500m2 (which can be extended), housing storeroom, laundry, refrigeration, recreational room, toilets, central heating and hot water installations and a technicians workshop intended for the hotel's needs.
b)Semi-ground first level
Covers an area of 1200m2, and features 12 rooms, administrators offices, lounge, reception, bar, restaurant, kitchen, two telephone cabins, shop and sitting area with two fireplaces.
c)First floor
Covers an area of 1200m2 and features 34 rooms and an office.(store room)
d) Second floor
Covers an area of 900m2 and features 34 rooms and an office.(store room)
e) Rooftop
With cover area of 200m2 with rooms used by the hotel staff.
The building covers, in total, an area of 4000 m2 . The total number of rooms amount to 80. The surrounding area features tennis courts,basket fields, a swimming pool, discotheque, a children's playground, a 500-seating capacity open theatre, water tanks, and biologic purification facilities. Further to the land-planning legislation in force, there is potential for add-ons with regards the already built structures.
